Fig jam

This year I started to experience the jam area. At Gusti's request, if you know who I'm talking about: P, I made a fig jam. The good and fragrant one came out, even if they were the biggest ones, with a slightly thicker shell. And a little bit ....

  • 10 figs
  • 300 g brown sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 120 ml water

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes


First and foremost I prepared the figs: I washed them, cut the tails and cut them into four.

I put the water together with the sugar on the fire until a bound syrup formed.

I added the figs cut into syrup, I mixed and let it boil over low heat. Near the end, when it dropped well, I added lemon slices, cut in half, to flavor the jam.

Is there anything else to say? Ah, it's just that we fought over this jam ...
